Knitting

Knitting is no joke. Especially not to "Ravelympics," a group of individuals who have various knitting competitions during the actual Olympics each year. In fact, the United States Olympic Committee sent a letter to the group saying that their activities "denigrate the true nature of the Olympic Games ... it is disrespectful to our country's finest athletes." Don't hate, USOC -- these people are professional knitting competitors. They have afghan marathons, scarf hockey, and sweater triathlons. <i>- Jaclyn Peiser</i>
