Mark Huntzinger has joined Chicagoland Sunbelt, a business brokerage, as vice president of operations.
For the last two years, Huntzinger, 51, had been director of Sun Acquisitions, the M&A advisory arm of Sun Affiliates focused on buying and selling $5 million to $100 million companies in industries including services, health care, manufacturing, advertising, technology and transportation.
Before that, he engineered turnarounds at Westells $65 million Network Service Access Division and Charles Industries $20 million Access & Transmission Business Unit. He also has held business development positions with Verascape and 3Com/US Robotics.
Huntzinger has B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
