Mark Huntzinger has joined Chicagoland Sunbelt, a business brokerage, as vice president of operations.<br> <br> For the last two years, Huntzinger, 51, had been director of Sun Acquisitions, the M&A advisory arm of Sun Affiliates focused on buying and selling $5 million to $100 million companies in industries including services, health care, manufacturing, advertising, technology and transportation.<br> <br> Before that, he engineered turnarounds at Westell’s $65 million Network Service Access Division and Charles Industries’ $20 million Access & Transmission Business Unit. He also has held business development positions with Verascape and 3Com/US Robotics.<br> <br> Huntzinger has B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU000047" title="Massachusetts Institute of Technology" href="/topic/science-technology/massachusetts-institute-of-technology-OREDU000047.topic">Massachusetts Institute of Technology</a> and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Huntzinger has B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
