“It’s my privilege to promote these three veteran employees,” said Mike Williams, Blue Grass Energy president and CEO. “This reorganization allows us to utilize the expertise we have on staff to continue serving our membership, the cooperative way.”
Drury’s responsibilities will focus on corporate communications and energy efficiency initiatives. Drury joined Blue Grass Energy in 1988 as a marketing and engineering representative and later was promoted to manager of member services. In 1998, Drury was named district manager. Farmer also serves as chairman of the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission.
Higdon is responsible for member relations and accounts. Higdon began her career at Blue Grass Energy in 2003 as district manager.
