— A free meal is provided by Manna Ministries each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal is a restaurant-quality meal served at 303 W. Maple St. in the community center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. The meal is open to the public for anyone in need. — Wilmore Free Methodist Church will host “The Truth Project,” a 12-week Bible study for high-school age through adults on Saturdays beginning Feb. 2 from 8-9:30 a.m. The study will help answer worldview questions and bring meaning and understanding to Christians. — Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, located at 926 S. Main St., offers free bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area. Saint Athanasius distributes this bread, supplied by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. on the porch of the South Main Street location.
— The Jessamine County Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomes people 60 years of age and older. The center has a fully equipped exercise room and a thrift shop. The seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
