Jessamine County man grows 20-pound head of lettuce

David W. Slugantz of 3150 Vince Road in Nicholasville said he couldn't believe he grew a head of lettuce that was 20 pounds in his farm garden. "My wife weighed it on our home scale," Slugantz said. "It's a heavy one."
