'Rockin' Grandma' takes home NACMAI award

Denise Beaty of Nicholasville, the “Rockin’ Grandma,” took home the “Rising Star Award” for country album of the year 2012 at the North American Country Music Association International awards. She took the award for her album "Country Fried Country Girl,” which is currently being promoted to country radio by Williams Productions and Promotions. Beaty is planning a summer tour.
