A Lexington man indicted last January on rape, assault and kidnapping charges is set to enter a guilty plea Friday.
Trevor G. Young, 21, was indicted on the charges after a November 2011 incident in which he “unlawfully restrained” the victim, cut her with a knife, and raped her.
According to a criminal complaint dated Nov. 19, 2011, and signed by Nicholasville police Sgt. Michael Fleming, it is alleged that Young held the victim against her will for 24 hours in a bedroom and “continually assaulted her with his fists, a large knife and a baseball bat, causing physical injury and bodily harm to most of her body.”
Young is charged with three counts of first-degree rape, second-degree assault, and kidnapping.
The plea hearing is set for 9 a.m. in Jessamine Circuit Court.
