No one was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning on Ashgrove Road approximately 2 miles east of U.S. 27.

Heading toward Tates Creek Road just before 8 a.m., a white Ford truck hauling an empty trailer swerved off the road and flipped.

According to the driver another vehicle had entered his lane forcing him off the road, Jessamine County Sheriff Sgt. Andy Neyman said.

The driver, who asked to remain unidentified, emerged from his pick-up truck unscathed.

The driver of the other vehicle was not at the scene.

The trailer hitched to the truck was most likely a key factor in the driver losing control of his truck, Neyman said.

Neither alcohol nor speed were a factor, just a winding road with a sharp drop off, Neyman said.

The light traffic flow was slowed on Ashgrove Road but not stopped while a tow truck worked to extract the truck.
