Photo gallery: 2012 Excellence in Education awards
The winners of Jessamine County Schools' 2012 Excellence in Education awards were announced Monday morning during the opening-day ceremonies at East Jessamine Middle School. Shawn Carlstedt of Rosenwald-Dunbar won the elementary-school award; Anna Campbell of West Middle won the middle-school award; and Tasha Bowlin of East High won the high-school award.
