Photo gallery: Active-shooter training in Nicholasville

Public-safety agencies from across the county participated in an active-shooter training this week at West Jessamine High School. Law-enforcement officers armed with compressed-air guns responded to staged scenarios involving shooters. The training included the Nicholasville Police Department, Jessamine County Sheriff's Office, Wilmore Police Department, Nicholasville Fire Department, Jessamine County EMS, Jessamine County E-911, Saint Joseph-Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center, Jessamine County Emergency Management and volunteers playing the parts of victims.
