The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary road closure is scheduled for Ky. 169 (Keene Road) in Jessamine County. The closure is necessary for a culvert pipe replacement and minor road widening work to be completed.
Work will be performed:
• Monday, July 16 - the road closure will be in effect at 9 a.m.
• Monday, July 30 - the road will reopen at 9 a.m. This will be a two week closure including Saturdays and Sundays.
The location of the closure on Ky. 169 will be mile point 14.9. This portion of roadway is between U.S. 68 and Ky. 1267. Message boards will be in place to alert the traveling public and motorists can follow the signed detour.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the department of highways.
