A man sustained minor injuries in a motor-scooter crash Tuesday on North Main Street that closed two lanes of traffic for several minutes.
The southbound scooter wiped out in front of The Jessamine Journal around 5 p.m. Nicholasville Fire Department personnel were the first responders from their station just a block away. The driver was transported to Saint Joseph-Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center by Jessamine County EMS with minor injuries.
Southbound traffic on North Main Street was diverted to 2nd Street while northbound traffic continued slowly while crews worked at the scene for about 20 minutes.
