The two Georgia men who were charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting Thursday, June 21, have been released on an unsecured bond and have left Kentucky.
According to the Jessamine County Sheriff's Office, Mark J. Buckland and Michael N. Buckland of Macon, Ga., fired several shots at a pick-up truck leaving 728 Chinkapin Drive, causing minor, non-life-threatening injuries to the driver.
The pair turned themselves in the following morning to the Jessamine County Detention Center, were arrested and given $50,000 bonds.
Officials from the detention center confirmed the men signed themselves out Monday morning, paying only $60 in jail fees, under the condition that both leave the state of Kentucky and only return for future court appearances.
Other conditions of their bond, signed by Judge Hunter Daugherty, include no contact with the victim, no weapon possession, signing a Monitored Conditional Release (MCR) and reporting to pre-trial services in the state of Kentucky.
