A Nicholasville woman was sentenced to 30 days after hitting a house last Friday. Michelle Glass, 33, pleaded guilty Monday to DUI and leaving the scene of an accident charges, according to court records. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
According to police, Glass missed her turn Friday morning and hit a house on Shun Pike. Glass then backed out and fled the scene and went home. She was later arrested.
Julia Highnight was inside the home when the incident occurred. She was sleeping on a couch on the wall where Glass hit the house and Highnight was thrown across the room. She was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries.
