Alvie Lee Antrobus, 88, husband of sixty five years to Ruby Imogene Roberts Antrobus, died Feb. 21. He was a proud farmer, having received the Distinguished Farmer award for Woodford County, a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and was chosen for Gen. Eisenhower’s Honor Guard. Additional survivors include two daughters, Charlotte and husband Howard Beauman, and Becky Lane and husband Scott Seal, three grandchildren, Bryan and wife Candy Beauman, Brent and wife Sarah Beauman and Ashlee and husband Loren Wells, great-grandchildren, Christian, Bailee, Luke, Emilee and Lucy Beauman and Palmer Wells. Services were 7 p.m. Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Monday. Committal services were 10 a.m. Tuesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
