Dorothy Shuman, 76, died March 19.  She was the daughter of the late Jess and Virginia Tucker Smith.  Dorothy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a nursery volunteer for the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church for more than 20 years. Survivors include four children, Greg and wife Linda Rogers, Debbie and husband Elmer Holt, Steve and wife Teresa Shuman, and Brenda and husband Brian Dinsmore; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Brenda Sams and Evelyn Rose Shuman. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday.  www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
