Franklin M. Richardson, 75, husband of Becky Richardson, passed away Feb. 26. He was the son of the late Clyde and Flora Noland Richardson and was the owner of Richardson Plumbing and Heating as well as a member of Brookside Baptist Church. Additional survivors include his children, Greg and wife Michelle Richardson, Dena and husband Dale Hamblin, and Becky’s son Vernon and wife Barbara Gamboe; grandchildren Austin Farmer, William Gamboe, Hunter Richardson, Dustin and wife Tina Hamblin, Kelley and husband Robby Herbert, Lena and husband Nick Pastura, Aubrey Glenn, and Nicole and husband Alex Woodcock; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fannie Ray. Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne Brewer and the Rev. Darrell Mulcahy. Burial took place in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 4-9 p.m. Friday. Bearers were Austin Farmer, Robert Burge, Aubrey Glenn, Tommy Richardson, Brian Ray and Richard Woolums.
