Gene Goodlett, 64, husband of Annie Clemons Goodlett, died Sept. 6 after a lenghtly illness. He was a carpenter and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a native of Wilmore and son of the late James Allen Goodlett and Margaret Lamb Goodlett. Additional survivors include two sons, Jeffery Allen Goodlett and Gene Anthony Goodlett; a grandchild, Kaethan Bray; a brother, Gordon Goodlett; and two sisters, Betty Willis and Melissa Goodlett. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Wilmore Cemetery. Bearers were Gordon, Michael, Jeff, Anthony and Elana Goodlett; Berry Goodlett Willis; Josh Willis; Vindy Sponcil; and Kaethan Bray. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
