Harold Gray Phipps, 60, widower of Brenda K. Cuzick Phipps, died Tuesday, Feb. 21. He was born to Rilda Lee Smith Phipps and the late Lester Kenneth Phipps. Survivors are children Kristie and husband Billy Barnett, Misty and husband Charlie Feltner, and Samantha and husband Daniel Phipps; grandchildren Harold, Jossie, Karie, Triston, Roy and Jaxson; a great-grandchild, Kaylee; sisters Brenda Halcomb and Sandra Bridgewater; and brothers Kenneth Phipps, Hudson Phipps, Frank Phipps, Hager Phipps and Benjamin Phipps. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Lester Phipps; and sisters Darlene Phipps Kirk, Patricia Berniece Phipps and Ethel Faye Phipps. Services were at 1 p.m. Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
