Herbert Bain, 82, husband of Ethel Bain, passed on to be with his Lord on Nov. 23. He was a former employee of the Jessamine County Board of Education for 32 years, a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Southland Christian Church. Additional survivors include his daughter, Teresa and husband Larry Richardson; a very special grandson, Kyle Morgan Becknell, “Papaw’s Little Buddy”; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
