Mary Ann Carson Merriman West, 69, wife of Leon C. West, died Wednesday, Oct. 10. Additional survivors are a daughter, Linda and husband Joe Whilhoite; two stepdaughters, Kim and husband Matt McGrath and Donna and husband Mike McCullough; a stepson, Greg and wife Selena West; three grandchildren, Katie, Becky and J.J.; four stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Trevor, Nicholas and Monica; and three step-great-grandchildren, Chase, Cameron and Kayla.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Merriman.  Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial was in Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com.
