Robert Thomas Morford Sr., 82 widower of Mary Ruth Underwood Morford, died Monday, Jan. 14, at Saint Joseph Hospital. He was born May 8, 1930, in Garrard County to the late James Herbert and Maude Davis Morford. Survivors include three sons, Robert Thomas and wife Tracy Morford of Lexington, Steven Keith and wife Carol Morford of Lexington, and Randell Lee and wife Angie Morford of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Logan Thomas Morford, Regina Lynn Morford and Hayley Nichole Morford; and one future great-grandchild, Adelaide Faith McLane. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Herbert Morford Jr. and Edwin Morford; and two sisters, Nellie Frances Beck and Mary Alice Leach Preston. Services will be Monday at 8 a.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Buford officiating; burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
