William “Bill” Allen Davis, 51, of Stanford died at his home Saturday, March 17. A native of Fayette County, he was born Nov. 27, 1960, to Elizabeth R. Davis and the late Alford Davis. In addition to his mother, he is survived by maternal grandmother Bessie Mae Reece; three children, Christina, Brittany and Jason Davis; granddaughter Salina Davis; sister Bessie Vermillion and husband Jerry; and brother Steve Davis and fiancée Lisa Gipson. A service of remembrance was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Cemetery. The family was available at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home in Nicholasville from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Those wishing to honor his memory can make donations to the family in the form of contributions.
