Golf-course development receives approval for two lots

Many times, owners who give up their dogs at the Jessamine County Animal Shelter do so because of obedience problems, Mike Cassidy, director of the shelter, told the Jessamine County Fiscal Court on Tuesday. Now, those owners will have a new option.
