Photo Gallery: Fire on Keene-Troy Pike
Jessamine County Fire responded to a house fire around 1 p.m. Friday.
Smoke billowed from the house on Keene-Troy Pike as firefighters arrived.
Nickie Allen, who moved out of the home less than a week ago and whose children still lived there with their father, said three of her children were home at the time the fire erupted. They all escaped, she said.
At least six fire trucks responded to the scene.
