Much like the first meeting between East Jessamine and West Jessamine earlier this year, it was the Lady Colts and the Jaguars that came away with wins.

The West Jessamine girls won 66-47 for its fifth win of the season and second district win. The Lady Colts held a slim 33-27 advantage at the half before pulling away in the final two quarters.

The East Jessamine boys picked up their fifth district win of the year to become the No. 1 seed in the district tournament by beating West 71-60. The Jaguars used a huge 20-point second quarter to take control of the game before the half. Another strong defensive quarter in the third helped secure the Jags win.

Tashan Hairston led East with 16 points and Cody Collins had 12.

Daulton Peters had a double-double for the Colts with 11 points and 10 boards. Chase Fain had a team-high 19 points.
