The East Jessamine boys’ track team set a meet record in the 4x800-meter relay at the 2012 KTCCCA Indoor meet on Saturday at Mason County.
The team consisting of Matt Hall, Brandon Back, Cody Parks and Drew Goettl came in with a time of 9:14.33 seconds, beating the next team by 15 seconds.
East placed second in the boys’ 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:54.7.
Hall placed second in the 800-meter with a time of 2:13.54, and Back placed fourth at 2:20.42.
The East boys placed seventh out of 21 schools with 31 points.
Kayla Richards placed ninth in the shot put at 27 feet, 10.5 inches.
Daylei Dekrey placed second in the high jump at 5 feet.
