West Jessamine assistant baseball coach Casey Hamilton has been voted 12th Region assistant coach of the year.
Hamilton just completed his first season with the Colts after five years in the college coaching ranks at Olney Community College in Illinois and Western Kentucky University.
“When (Casey) came, it allowed me to concentrate on other things and do more scouting,” West head coach Jody Hamilton said.
Casey Hamilton coached third base and ran the offense.
