East's Hukle places 21st in state bowling; West's Cheek gets 30th

Chester Hukle of East Jessamine High School placed 21st in the boys' state bowling individual championships in Louisville Thursday afternoon, throwing games of 213, 168 and 213 for a total of 594.

West Jessamine's Robyn Cheek had games of 141, 145 and 158, a total of 444 that earned her 30th place in the state on the girls' side.

The team championships are tomorrow; the West Jessamine girls' team will be competing in that event at the Executive Strike & Spare in Louisville.
