A touchdown by Tates Creek with 24 seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter gave the Commodores a 14-7 win over East Jessamine on Friday night in the first VisitNich.com Bowl at East.

The Jags' lone touchdown came on their opening possession of the game as senior Cameron Thomas broke a 35-yard run. He finished the night with 119 yards after leaving midway through the third quarter with leg cramps. 

Tates Creek tied the game 7-7 a few minutes before the half on a 1-yard run by William Hardin. Dennie Oxendine scored from 8 yards out in the final minute to give Tates Creek the victory.
