West and East Jessamine opened their high school tennis seasons Thursday against one another after a series of weather related cancellations postponed their past events.

In an effort headed by its top two boys singles performers, West defeated the Jaguars 6-3. The duo also played a part in the Colts' doubles teams sweeping East 3-0 in that category.
