Student art for sale

Third-graders Bobby Blome and Brian Fryer help fourth-grader Cory Carlson show off one of the student-made rag rugs to be auctioned at Concord Academy Petoskey at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15. The rugs were made by students in kindergarten through fourth grades. In addition, student-made painted silk scarves, tiled tables, mugs, trays, plates, clocks, pillows and other artwork will be sold. The school will also auction themed baskets including "Movie Night," "Sleep over" and "Chocolate." The cost for a bid card and a dessert is $5.
