Devastation

Angie DAmico walks with her neighbors on Wednesday past a home on NW 8th Court in Sunrise that had been severely damaged by a tornado the night before. The home in the background is owned by a man in his 60s who lives alone. According to DAmico, he was found sitting on a chair and appeared to be in shock over what had happened. DAmico, who is a nurse, tended to an open wound on his neck. She also said many elderly in the neighborhood were complaining of chest pains shortly after the tornado hit.
