STANFORD — Rising jail costs are the most notable difference in Lincoln County's proposed budget for the coming fiscal year. The proposed budget, which magistrates approved first reading of last week, plans for expenses at Lincoln County Regional Jail to grow by about 6.53 percent, while revenues are expected to drop off by about 4.74 percent.
