A burglary suspect wanted in three counties was spotted Tuesday by police in Indiana.
Billy Dale Roach, 32, of Indianapolis, Ind., is the only remaining suspect not arrested in a string of burglaries that occurred Monday.
The burglaries took place at a Parksville country store, Old Bridge Golf Course in Danville, Hill of Beans BP in Garrard County, Sal’s Marathon in Lincoln County, and Hardees in Junction City.
Daniel C. Stovall, 42, of Plainfield, Ind., and Joshua C. Johnson, 38, of Indianapolis, Ind., were taken into custody Monday morning in Garrard County.
Boyle County Sheriff Marty Elliott said his department and those in Lincoln and Garrard received information Tuesday from police in Danville, Ind., that they had information about Roach.
Elliott said Roach allegedly was involved in shoplifting in Danville, Ind., and the police there detained him before seeing he was wanted in Kentucky for burglary.
Roach fled from police before he could be arrested.
“He’s still out and about,” said Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger.
Folger said his department is working on getting warrants for Roach.
“Hopefully, they’ll catch him and we’ll go get him and extradite him back to Kentucky,” Folger said.
