STANFORD — A prisoner who escaped from a Louisville correction center Monday was recaptured by Stanford police Wednesday afternoon, Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger said.
Louis Taylor, 24, was captured at Logan Trace Apartments on the east side of Stanford around 4 p.m., Folger said.
Police had been looking for Taylor since Monday, and considered him dangerous, according to reports.
Taylor had been in contact with Folger on Tuesday, claiming he would turn himself in at the sheriff's office Wednesday morning, but that never happened.
