STANFORD — A Junction City woman was arrested Nov. 19 by a Lincoln County deputy after admitting to having methamphetamine in her possession.
Casey Lauren Cox, 21, was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail.
Cox was at a home on Robin Drive near Ky. 127 south of Junction City when social services made a visit because residents of the home had not reported for required drug tests, Sheriff Curt Folger said.
When Deputy Dewayne Taylor, who was accompanying social services on the visit, asked if Cox had any drugs in her possession, Cox admitted she did, Folger said.
Taylor then found the methamphetamine in Cox's purse.
