KINGS MOUNTAIN — A Waynesburg man wanted in Pulaski and Lincoln counties was arrested by a Lincoln deputy after a cat-and-mouse pursuit Oct. 23.
Christopher T. Stull, born Sept. 13, 1991, was lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail and charged with first-degree fleeing and evading and marijuana possession, Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger said.
Stull already had a lengthy list of charges he was wanted for, including Pulaski charges of first-degree fleeing and evading and wanton endangerment of a police officer, among others, Folger said.
Stull was wanted in Lincoln County for third-degree criminal mischief, contempt of court and other charges.
"We knew that he was wanted," Folger said. "We'd been trying to catch this subject for a while."
Folger said a Constable Delbert Mitchell spotted Stull Tuesday at a residence along Ky. 328. When Stull saw that Mitchell had spotted him, he took off running into the woods.
Folger said a search for Stull was initiated. Deputy Johnny Williams found Stull, who was hiding and observing other law enforcement officers searching for him. As Williams approached, Stull noticed him and began running away again, Folger said.
"Deputy Williams ran after the subject and caught him down on Cemetery Road, where he took him into custody and placed him under arrest," Folger said.
Stull was being held without bond as of Thursday afternoon.
