HUSTONVILLE — A Perryville woman and Lexington man were injured in a two-vehicle wreck along Ky. 78 Tuesday afternoon.
Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger said Joseph Reffitt, 32, of Perryville, was preparing to turn off of Ky. 78 into a driveway when Titus Godfrey, 32, of Lexington, pulled around to pass Reffitt's vehicle.
Godfrey's SUV struck Reffitt's truck, causing it to flip, Folger said.
Reffitt's wife, Tina, was in the passenger seat of the truck and was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville for possible neck and back injuries. Godfrey, who was alone in his vehicle, was transported to Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford for possible head and neck injuries, Folger said.
Joseph Reffitt was not taken by ambulance but may have gone to the hospital via private vehicle for treatment later.
"He was pretty sore, but he refused EMS," Folger said.
After responders flipped Reffitt's truck onto its wheels, he was able to drive it off the road and into the driveway. The condition of Godfrey's SUV is unknown, Folger said.
