David Greene Elliott, 85, of Middleburg, died Tuesday, March 6 at his home.
Born March 22, 1926, in Middleburg, David was a son of the late Luther Elliott and Eva Sims Elliott. He was a farmer, retired Lincoln County school teacher and a member of Middleburg Methodist Church.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Mushin Elliott; two daughters, Pamela (Dwaine) Thurman and Cynthia Elliott; a son, David Greene Elliott II; and one grandson, David James Elliott.
Funeral services were March 9 at Bartle Funeral Home, Middleburg with Rev. Bill Hill officiating. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery.
