Evelyn Watts, 91, of Crab Orchard, died Sunday, Dec. 25 at her home.
Born Aug. 8, 1920, in Mercer County, Evelyn was a daughter of the late George and Bessie Lawson Taylor. She worked for several years as the secretary for Owen's Chevrolet in Stanford and was a member of Drakes Creek Baptist Church and the WMU (Women's Missionary Union).
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Watts.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J.T. Watts of Crab Orchard; a son, Barry (Brenda) Watts; a grandson, Troy (Tonya) Watts; and two great granddaughters, Reece Watts and Morgan Robinson.
Funeral services were Dec. 28 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Tirey officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
