Archie “A.D” East, 92, of Lancaster, died Monday, March 12, at the VA Hospital in Lexington.
Born May 19, 1920, in Garrard Count, Archie was a son of the late Rono and Lora Parsons East. He was a farmer, of the Christian faith and a World War II Army veteran serving as a ranger. He was the widower of Bernice Coffey East.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff and Paul East; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m. today (March 14) with funeral services following at 7 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home with Rev. Bryce McCulley officiating.
Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 15, in the Lancaster Cemetery.
