Cherry Allene Rogers, 75, of Waynesburg, died Thursday, March 14, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born March 1, 1938, in Stanford, Cherry was a daughter of the late Emerson and Eva Britton Mitchell. She was a member Chesnutt Ridge Baptist and the widow of Robert “Bob” Rogers,
Survivors include sons, Porter, Patrick and Palmer (Kathy) Rogers; a daughter, April Shearer; one brother; Denver (Sue) Mitchell; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were March 16, at K.P. Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain with Rev. David Gambrel officiating.
Spurlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
