James Artie Todd, 73, of Crab Orchard, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born May 26, 1939, in Quail, James was a son of the late Willie Hamm and Oscar Todd. He was a member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church and loved fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nellie Barker Todd, whom he married on Jan. 28, 1959; four children, James Dean Todd, Timothy Linn Todd, Johnny Mark Todd and Shandra Renee Johns; three sisters, Joyce (Ron) Rogers, Lilly (Gary) Flemming and Bonnie (Bobbie) Barron; one brother, Wayne (Gleda) Todd; special friends, Brenda and Raymond Brown; four grandchildren, Brandy Lynn (Bobby) McKeever, Harold Butch James Breen, Jeremy Michael Breen and Jacob Spencer Johns; and three great grandchildren, Joseph Todd Lee McKeever, Brayden Ray McKeever and Preston Bradley Breen.
Funeral services were March 2, at Watts Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial was in Ottawa Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Butch Breen, Jeremy Michael Breen, Raymons Brown, Anthony Bradley, Bobby McKeever and Tom Boehm. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Leece and Paul Barrett.
McKnight Funeral Home in Crab Orchard was in charge.
