Juliane W. DeZarn, 79, of Stanford, passed away Saturday, March 2, at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington.
Born Monday, Nov. 27, 1933, in Ashland, Juliane was the only child of the late William Frederick and Paula Amelia Sachenweger Wiedekamp. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ashland, where she was, for many years, a member of the Alter Guild. Juliane loved to sew and do needlework and will always be remembered for the love and devotion she showed her family. She was the widow of Major General (Ret.) Robert L. DeZarn, who preceded in her in death on May 28, 2009.
Survivors include three children, Debra Lynn DeZarn (partner-Carol-Ann Smith) of Maryland, William Robert (Cindy) DeZarn of Cincinnati, Ohio and Angela D. (Jason) Todd of Stanford; and two grandchildren, Jennifer (Drew) Huskey and Christopher DeZarn both of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Visitation will be Friday, March 8, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Fox Funeral Home with Rev. Mark A. Kloha officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at College Hill Methodist Cemetery in Waco, Ky.
Cremation rites will be honored.
