Maxine Perkins (March 16, 2013)

Maxine Perkins, 84, of Hustonville, passed away Thursday, March 14 at Baptist Health in Lexington. 

Born March 16, 1928, in Liberty, Maxine was a daughter of the late Clifton and Clara Mae Wilcher Delk. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Fellowship Church.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, C.M. Delk; and one sister, Alene Philpot.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Sandy) Perkins of Hustonville and Jimmy (Donna) Perkins of Waynesburg; three daughters, Diane  (Wayne) Roberts and Kim (Roger) Caudill both of Hustonville and Vicky Miracle of Stanford; two brothers, Harold (Jackie) Delk of Stanford and Glenn  (Patsy) Delk of Harrodsburg; two sisters; Kathleen Carman of Stanford and Shirley Ann (Gary) Roberts of Junction City; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were March 18, at Grace Fellowship Church in Stanford with Rev. Vola Brown officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers were Barry Leach, Joey Roberts, Jerry Johnson, Aaron Miracle, Jeremiah Perkins and Matt Hutti. Honorary pallbearers were Will Napier, Jaxson Perkins, Amber Napier, Melanie Hutti, Sara Caudill, Kim Brock, Payton Brock, Alex Hutti, and Conner Hutti.

Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford was in charge of arrangements.
