Robert Charles Collins Sr., 78, of Hustonville, formerly of Jackson, died Friday, March 8.
Born Jan. 10, 1935, in Jackson, Robert was a son of the late John L. and Evalee Spencer Collins. He was a retired coal miner and attended the Full Gospel Deliverance Church in Hustonville.
Survivors include his wife, Alice M. Collins; a son, Robert C. (Rosetta) Collins, Jr.; daughters, Juanita Johnson and Becky Jo (Ronnie) Dobson; brothers, Herbert, B.J. (Josephine), Bill (Shirley), Frank (Gretha) and Rex (Dora) Collins; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 12 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Little officiating. Burial was in Hustonville Cemetery.
