Marlin Lee Smith, 76
Marlin Lee "Model T" Smith, 76, of Science Hill, passed away Monday, March 12, at his residence.
Born Jan. 12, 1936, in Paola, Marlin was a son of the late Hubert Smith and Lucille Poynter Smith Wilburn. He was a farmer.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Della Mae Camplese; and two half sisters, Emma Jean Allen and Irene Cummings.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Taylor Smith of Science Hill, whom he married on Aug. 13, 1960; one daughter, Marla Anne Smith-Galan of Science Hill; one sister, Beatrice Perry of Crab Orchard; three half brothers, Jack Smith and Tommy Wilburn both of Louisville and Bill Smith of Shelbyville; three half sisters, Betty Huffines of Louisville, Andrea French of Shelbyville and Teresa Lee Bullock of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren, Sergio Santiago Galan and Xavier Augustine Galan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight (March 15) at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to God's Food Pantry in Somerset, Ky.
