To start, I want to give my condolences to Roger Coldiron & his family. Roger lost his mother just a few days ago, and my sympathies go out to them.
Our state representative represents all of us from Lincoln, Rockcastle & Pulaski Counties in Frankfort. So, I ask for everyone’s support as we set sail on this new journey together. I promise that I will do my best to represent the values & beliefs of our district. This is not something that I can do alone. I need your continued encouragement & prayers as we work together to continue to move our district forward.
First & foremost I must thank God, for giving me this opportunity. I have to thank my wife Rebecca & my son for being my pillar of support throughout this campaign.
I also want to thank all the folks of our district for standing beside me. Your support is truly overwhelming. I believe that a man’s wealth is measured by his relationships and friends, not by the money in his pocket. I have been shown how wealthy I truly am, by the outpouring of support in our communities. So again, thank you so much for standing beside me through all of this.
Thank you to Roger Coldiron, Mark Eaton & Jerry Shelton for running a gentlemen’s race. I believe this is the way most folks want to see political races handled. With integrity & respect, no dirty politics. I have had the pleasure to get to know all of these men over the past 3 ½ months, and I know that they are all wonderful people.
Thank you to everyone who worked and supported the campaign, all of my family & friends here in Lincoln County, as well as in Rockcastle & Pulaski Counties. Lots of hard work & dedication have been poured into this campaign, and from the bottom of my heart I am grateful to all of you.
Finally, I want to thank my friend Representative Danny Ford for his dedication and service to our district and state. I have a new appreciation for the sacrifices he made with his time, and full-time job, to serve the people of our area in Frankfort. I have some big shoes to fill, and he will be missed, but I will do my best to continue to build on the solid foundation he has formed for our district.
Again, I appreciate everyone’s friendship, encouragement, and support. Thank you all very much.
