I am pleased with the choices we have in the Republican Primary elections. Thanks to the fact that the Democrats did not field a candidate for the general election for our house district, which includes Lincoln and Rockcastle counties, Republicans will decide who will be our representative in Frankfort for the next two years. I have had the opportunity to meet all four of these candidates and after meeting and talking with each one of them, I have come to a clear conviction that David Meade, our own Lincoln County resident, is the best candidate to represent us. I found David to be of high integrity and very committed to a pro-life and pro-family agenda for Kentucky. On the fiscal side, he will be for less government spending, lower taxes, and more efficient state government. He will also be active in promoting new employment for Kentucky citizens and specifically for our district, including Lincoln County. Most importantly, I am impressed with David’s willingness to be involved in the health care issues that impact our citizens.
For all of the above reasons, I encourage Republicans in Lincoln County to vote decisively for David Meade for State Representative.
